Scottish Music on the Bus

On my recent bus tour to the Highlands, I was introduced to the full range of Scottish music.  While I’m not a big fan of bagpipes and traditional jigs, I did find myself moved and inspired by some songs.

Like many people who are indigenous to their lands, their music is their badge and increases their connection.

Here are a couple of my faves…

Caledonia

The Bonnie Banks O’ Loch Lomond

The Proclaimers

Ok. I may have been the only one on the bus singing this out loud.  But I felt like I was in the middle of THIS crowd!

I stumbled on this one while looking up the others.  I really like it.
